Diane Greene is president and founder of VMware. Under Diane's direction, VMware has pioneered the market for industry-standard virtualization software and has established itself as the global leader in virtual infrastructure technology. Diane has more than 20 years of high tech industry experience including technical leadership positions at Silicon Graphics, Tandem, and Sybase and as CEO of VXtreme. Diane holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and master's degrees in computer science and naval architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Diane is on the board of West Marine.
